Balancing Act

23 The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. (‭Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭23‬ NLT)

It is refreshing to know that God directs my steps! As I contemplate the days activities, I need to first spend time with God. I am getting more aware of my need for Him in EVERY aspect of my life. I need Him to fill me up, so that I have something that is of worth to give out. No matter where that my be-home, work, grocery store, doctor‘s office, car line....

It is easy to prioritize or justify my actions according to where I am. For example, if I am at my place of work (where I earn a pay check) or if I am at home (where I do not, and many of the things I do go unnoticed). Many times my attitude determines my actions, whether I “give it all I‘ve got, or I do a half hearted job”.

I want to be a girl that lets God direct my steps, knowing that He is guiding me all the time, whether I am vacuuming, or prepping someone for surgery; whether I am with the people closest to me or with complete strangers.

He can and will use me in every situation of every day if I allow. He takes delight in me, and you, always. He is looking for us, wanting to be involved in our lives, all the time.

Question is, WILL WE ALLOW HIM?
