Thanksgiving is over now and Christmas fast approaches. The days fly by fast. The older I get the more I have learned to savor every coming moment because time is fleeting.
This world is fast-paced. Days come and go so quickly sometimes I don’t know where time goes. I can remember how I used to long to be an adult when I was a teen. Now that I am older, I just want time to slow down a little bit. Thankfully, I know that no matter what the days hold, I know that if I hold onto Jesus and put him first I will be alright.
God has given us the the gift of eternal life. The word says that Jesus is life. He is the Way. He is the Light.
Getting to the right place for eternity is the most important thing I can do for myself, and showing others that way is my job as a Christian. I show others by first living the way God intended me to live. My walk through this world should be different than others who don’t know Christ as their Lord and Savior. Others should be able to see there is something different about me. There is a hope that I have that the world does not know.
It is not my job to blend into the world, but to shine. When time is so fast we don’t know what to do, just shine for Jesus.
Matthew 5:16 KJV
[16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Thank you Sarah!! Shine Brightly for Jesus
