I love a good line in a song that evokes something inside of you. You know what I'm talking about? Those lines that just trigger something. It makes you feel something deep and exciting. It tugs on the heart strings. And maybe the next thing you know you're belting it out like you're the original recording artist. Do you know what I'm talking about? Do you have those lines?
One of those lines for me comes from the Christmas Carol "O Holy Night." Now I know what you're thinking, how does a line from such a calm Christmas Carol evoke so much emotion? It's the line "the thrill of Hope, the weary world rejoices....."
The thrill of Hope! The thrill of Hope!! In a weary world where at times we can feel consumed and overwhelmed, the idea of Hope is absolutely thrilling!! It thrills my heart and soul and breathes life. A Hope so glorious and divine that my soul can't help but rejoice!
