The truth about yoga

Have you ever been mad at the devil? Well he has made me very angry! I am going to blog about something that makes me angry and may sound a little harsh, but it is because I’m upset at the devil for deceiving so many Christians.

I want to speak about the recent trend toward yoga as a form of exercise. Yoga is not an exercise, it is a religion. I am going to shed the light on yoga in this blog. I ignorantly participated in it a few times and understand the power and the spiritual energy that can be felt through its practice. And even though I didn’t see it for what it was then, something told me that it was wrong. Now I am speaking out against it in this blog, exposing yoga. I would like to encourage you to please research this topic further.

Yoga seems like a harmless exercise that causes those who practice to be lean and look like the picture of health. However, it is a Hindi religion and every pose is an act of worship to a false god. Even if the chants were removed, it would still be wrong.

Yoga is a cult based on Eastern religions. A major text on yoga states the aim of yoga is the realization of “Absolute Brahman.” Hindi belief is that Brahman is a universal being, something that will manifest through “Shiva.”

Yoga is intended to use posturing poses to manipulate the skeletal system and muscles in a way to release the spiritual body for its goal of yoga, which is union with “god.” When true yoga occurs an evil spirit is invited inside your body, and it allows others to come in as well.

I know this is NOT the intention of any Christian. That’s why I am writing this. I hope it helps someone who has been participating in yoga.

It is good to care for our bodies. Let’s make and keep our bodies a healthy place for the Holy Spirit to reside.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV

[19] What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? [20] For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
