Treasure

Luke 12:32-34

"Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Fear always creates separation from the truth - The Father and the Kingdom are treasures.

In the world, finances are treasure. Things are treasure. Jobs are treasure. Accomplishments are treasure. Titles are treasure.

But as Christ followers, we give the treasure of the world away to replace it with the Fathers good pleasure of the Kingdom. The Father will always call you higher, closer, deeper to His heart.

What your heart longs for and what your affections are set on will always be illuminated. Even if you are unaware of Christ, your heart is still exposing your affection. When your heart is revealed, what treasure will it expose?

Finances in the world dictate position, stature and accomplishment.

Finances in the Kingdom of God indicate faith, charity, hope, love, the progression of the Gospel and exposure of Gods heart for His people.

Don’t let the world's definition of finances be the treasure that your heart follows... Let your earthly finances be a tool to expose the true treasure your heart follows, the Father and His Kingdom.

He is the treasure that does not fail, the money bag that never grows old, no moth can destroy Him, no thieve can come near Him.

May the One who gave everything be able to ask of you anything and you gladly comply.

Oh sisters, let Him be where your heart is also.
