Psalms 1:1-2
Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Walking with God will cause us to examine every aspect of our Christians lives. We want to live blessed lives and the way to be blessed is to delight ourselves in the Lord daily. God promises to give us the desires of our heart when our heart aligns with His perfect will.
God warns us not to live wicked lives. Christians have no business doing certain things and going certain places, but more than where we are, we need to daily examine our hearts. We should be planted and rooted in Christ and His word. Our lives need to preach Jesus.
If we love Jesus we will obey His commandments. We will be delighted to obey them. We will flee wickedness and evil. We will not tie ourselves to people and things of this world who hate and mock God. We need to stand for Jesus in these last days and open our mouths wide and speak the truth in love.
